It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Paul Rushforth, the founder of Paul Rushforth Real Estate. Paul built our team, mentored the people in it, and shaped the way we care for families across Ottawa every day.
He believed that people always came first. He treated everyone with kindness, gave generously without expecting anything in return, and made people feel seen, heard, and valued. Those of us who had the privilege of knowing him are better because of it.
Our hearts are broken, especially for his children and his family, but we’re also deeply grateful for the outpouring of love we’ve witnessed.
The greatest way we can honour him is to continue what he started. To care for people. To serve with honesty and compassion. To keep putting relationships before transactions, just as he always did.
