A licensed realtor since 2008, Ryan has many years of experience to draw on when helping his clients. He is equally at home with buyers, sellers, and investors alike, and has owned his own income-generating properties. He is also a Certified Negotiations Expert.

Ryan obtained his real estate licence in 2008 and has been working in the Ottawa market ever since. When the prestigious Keller Williams firm was sold in 2016, we were lucky to acquire this seasoned pro.

He is active as both a listings agent and buyer’s agent. He especially loves the challenges that come with helping people upgrade to a new home while selling their old home at the same time. Ryan also enjoys helping first time home buyers and empty nesters who want to transition to a smaller property.

This experienced realtor knows the investment market very well. Having owned his own income-generating properties gives Ryan special insight into the needs of investors, who make up about 25% of his clientele.

He is a Certified Negotiations Expert, which comes in handy when it’s time to arrange a deal for his clients. Ryan’s background also includes years of sales experience, and he has had professional public speaking and leadership training as well. As a former professional chef, Ryan is in a unique position to judge the qualities of the kitchen in your new home.

Family Life

Ryan is married and has a brand new baby daughter. Between changings and feedings, Ryan loves to play hockey and hit the gym.

While he loves to travel and especially enjoys snorkelling, he also loves sharing the pleasures of home with family and friends. His garden and love of cooking help keep this busy dad centred. When his daughter gets older, he is looking forward to taking her to the cottage so she can experience the joys of the great outdoors.

Favourite Causes

A passionate nature lover, Ryan has a soft spot for dogs and is a strong supporter of the Ottawa Humane Society. He also participates in the Multiple Sclerosis walk every year.

We worked with Ryan for many months trying to find the right home for our first house purchase, and he still happily made time. The house we did end up getting was actually being sold by Paul Rushforth too, so we knew of it/went to view it, even before it was listed! I want to also mention I wanted all contact over email (as I do not like phone calls), and Ryan made it happen.
