Experience & Background
Eric started his career with Paul Rushforth Real Estate, then stepped away for a few years to be more present for his young family, returning as a sharper, more seasoned agent.
While prioritizing his family, he stayed close to the industry, building systems, mentoring agents, and supporting from behind the scenes, learning what buyers and sellers need before they can name it.
That experience is practical, too. Eric has been through enough renovations and home inspections to catch what costs serious money later: the true age of a furnace, the quirks of a 110-year-old Glebe basement versus a 1990s build, or windows that need replacing versus ones that only look old. He will flag it before you spend $700 on an inspection.
Eric connects best with families making their next move into the home they will grow into. As a dad raising two boys, he knows what parents dwell on: which streets are quiet enough to let the kids run out the front door, nearby schools, and daycare options in the neighbourhood.
His approach is straightforward. “I would much rather look at the job as an advisory role than someone doing actual sales,” he says. Eric is not afraid to tell a client a house is not the right choice, because his goal is happy clients, not quick deals.
Outside the Office
Off the clock, Eric is a devoted hockey and baseball dad, so much of the year is spent at the rink or the diamond. He also loves staying active: the gym, tennis, run clubs, and getting outside to hike.
Giving Back
A team player at heart, Eric sponsors his son’s spring hockey teams, takes part in charity golf tournaments and Paul Rushforth team events, and is known to drop off pies to clients at Thanksgiving.
Whether you are buying your first family home or making your next move, Eric will guide you through it with honesty, patience, and the full strength of the Paul Rushforth team behind him.
