Brigitte Dompierre
Brigitte understands the needs of families looking to buy or sell their home. She’s fully bilingual, has experience with investment property, and grew up learning about the Ottawa real estate market. She also has years of experience as an independent business owner, making her an asset to your home sale or purchase. Brigitte has built her career on understanding, communication, knowledge, and lots of hard work!
Before joining the team in 2018, Brigitte literally grew up helping her realtor mother in the Ottawa real estate market. “I always drove around with her looking at neighbourhoods and properties, helped with open houses, and really saw how much work a good realtor puts into each and every client,” Brigitte says.
Brigitte has experience working with both English and French homeowners in Ottawa. She believes that being authentic, knowledgeable, and having strong communication between herself and her clients are the keys to finding the perfect home or home buyer. “My priority is making sure that my buyers and sellers have their every need and want met. It’s all about them,” Brigitte says.
Along with working in real estate, Brigitte spent time as a teacher, owned her own business for 17 years, and knows what it’s like to flip an investment property for a healthy profit. She applies her management experience, investment skills, and the incredible work ethic she’s gained from her life experiences to accomplishing the goals of her clients. “I’ve learned that being hands-on and sustaining a connection is important to success, especially in real estate,” she explains.
Seeing a client’s dreams realized is by far what Brigitte loves the most about being a realtor. “My favourite thing about this job is finding that perfect home for someone that is going to be the place they build so many memories,” Brigitte says. “You see that satisfaction on their face, the glow in their eyes, and you know all the hard work was 100% worth it.”
One of the reasons Brigitte joined our team was because it enabled her to put more focus on her clients. “I wanted a team behind me, and I’m working with colleagues who are motivated and driven. Everyone here is community-oriented, family-focused, and extremely knowledgeable.” That’s why Brigitte fits in so well!
Outside the Office
Brigitte was born in Montreal, and has spent most of her life in Ottawa. She speaks both English and French. Formerly a fitness competitor, Brigitte is now focused on holistic living, spending time with her kids, and continuing to stay involved with not-for-profits like the Canadian Cancer Society and CHEO.
