Rob believes in making every buying and selling experience a personal one; while conducting himself with professionalism, empathy and showcasing his knowledge about the market. Rob continues to be mindful of each client’s needs and specifications. This is why Rob is such a good fit for our team at Paul Rushforth. Rob doesn’t see you as just another client but as a human being.
Rob joined the Paul Rushforth team in 2019, attaining the job title of selling partner and sales representative. He’s both a listings and buyer’s agent, receiving his real estate license back in 2018. His tasks include interacting with clients, building meaningful relationships with them, and always obtaining knowledge about the ever-changing real estate market in Ottawa.
Rob practices good networking skills to constantly build new relationships with clients. He believes the key foundation of a client relationship is trust. Through that trust, Rob focuses on understanding who his clients are, what their goals are, achieving them, and exceeding their expectations. He understands that perspective is crucial. Putting himself in the client’s shoes gives him an idea of their needs and wants.
Although his name isn’t Jack, Rob has gathered all types of experience to be considered a Jack-of-all-trades. Before Rob became a real estate superhero, he previously worked at a software company, managing restaurants, and is still a licensed gas technician. All this experience has nurtured how he conducts relationships with people.
Since joining the Paul Rushforth team, Rob has found our work atmosphere a positive one. “My favourite thing about working here is the team environment,” he says. “Everyone is willing to help everyone. It really is the most ideal company culture that I have experienced.”
Outside of work, Rob is super active, participating in all sorts of physical activities. He enjoys mountain biking, surfing and snowboarding. A few sports he plays are baseball, tennis and golf. From time to time, Rob volunteers with the Heart Institute and the Shepherds of Good Hope. He hopes to contribute to the Ocean Cleanup in the future.
