🎈Happy Birthday Mike🎈 The truth is we’ve known Mike for YEARS! And when we say years, we mean over 30 … keep that to yourself! From high school, to working at the Gap, to arranging our team party when he managed Hard Rock, Mike’s always been spreading his positivity around. So... When he decided to get into real estate, we were like HECK YA! That was almost 10 years ago … Mike has been a part of our lives for a long time but he has held a special place in our hearts for longer. 𝑯𝒆’𝒔 𝒂 𝒅𝒂𝒅, 𝒂 𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅. 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 when you need a little lift 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 when he sees you are struggling, even if you don’t see it 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚, man this guy is happy 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒆, what you see is what you get and we wouldn’t have it any other way 𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, he pushes you to be better every single day. 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞… ➡️His favourite food is POPCORN ➡️His guilty pleasure is movies ➡️His favourite pastime is spending time with his family & friends ➡️His secret super power is that he’s the Cliff Claven of useless information 😂 Even if haven’t had the chance to meet him, give him a shout out for his birthday, he’s worth every minute❤️

What if there was one simple hack that would immediately make your home feel and look more up-to-date? … Oh, there is one! Updating your light fixtures 💡 Yep! It’s that simple. And the project doesn’t even require you to have a savings account. Give some of these DIY tricks a try: ✔️ Update your lamp shade covers by using some fabric that you like (or ribbon), a glue gun, and some fabric scissors. ✔️ Take any outdated, brassy chandelier and spray paint it with some metallic or matte all-surface paint. You can do this with a lampstand as well. ✔️ Create your own lamp using a coffee tin for the shade and a mason jar as the stand. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box since that will save you lots of money in the end while still upping your decor-game. What brilliant tactics have you used to update the light fixtures in your home?

Prepping your Ottawa home for sale? Be aware that we’re currently experiencing a crazy sellers’ market. So before you call a contractor, learn what home improvements do not add value. Painting and performing essential repairs to help your property ace a home inspection are smart moves. However, old ideas like “a house for sale needs a nice kitchen” or “buyers want a place that’s move-in ready” don’t apply to today’s real estate market. There’s so little housing inventory on the 2020 market that most of those pricey improvements you’re considering just aren’t worth it. Consider this list of home seller renovation mistakes: ✔️ Room Renovations ✔️ Carpeting ✔️ Room Extensions ✔️ Room Additions ✔️ Landscaping ✔️ New HVAC Systems ✔️ Expensive Appliances Learn more at 💻RushforthBlog.com #ottawarealestate #ottawahomes #sellingottawa #sellingottawarealestate #realestate #realtor #realestateagent
